The OUT-DOOR project (2023-1-PL01-KA220-HED-00015976) has been co-funded by the Erasmus+ program of the European Commission and will be active from 2023 until 2026.
Within Europe, a growing number of people need to update and improve their knowledge, skills and competences to fill the gap between their formal education and training and the needs of a fast-changing society and labour market. For this reason, the OUT-DOOR project aims at developing a training program based on outdoor learning methodologies to create an alternative, appealing and engaging means to connect with students that are about to graduate and enter the labour market.
HED teachers and trainers will learn the theoretical/practical aspects of the Outdoor Learning model and, with the aid of expert partners, train the trainers. Through the program participants will gain knowledge in their strengths/talents, soft skills, build self-esteem and fortify attitudes for employment. Students will also build their professional career path, learn about labour changes, and prepare for job seeking.
