Lodz University of Technology

Lodz University of Technology (TUL) is a public university established in 1945. It ranks as the 5th best university of technology in Poland (Perspektywy 2023 University Ranking). It offers 65 engineering study programs – bachelor and master – taught at 9 faculties for almost 11 thousand students. Doctoral training is provided by the Interdisciplinary Doctoral School (IDS) which provides multiple unique prospects of development for PhD students. TUL’s International Faculty of Engineering (IFE) – the innovative teaching and learning facility of the university with 30 years’ experience – provides education in study programs taught in English and French for students of all nationalities.

 

Internationalization is of key importance for TUL’s development strategy. The University’s cooperation network involves over 400 partnerships with institutions from all over the world committed to joint science, research and student exchange initiatives. University of Vigo

University of Vigo

The Universidade de Vigo (UVIGO) is a young public academic institution officially founded in 1989 that has managed to consolidate itself as a reference of modernity and innovation in Galicia. It has three main objectives: to provide higher education services with high quality rates and oriented to foster work placements among its students, giving priority to internationalisation; to promote a basic and applied research through competitive research groups at an international level; and to transfer its knowledge and scientific advances to the society in order to promote an intelligent, sustainable and integrating growth in all its surrounding territory. The institution has proven experience in the Erasmus+ Sports call with participation in 4 projects, in the Knowledge Alliances call with 2 projects, in 9 Erasmus Mundus actions, in 1 Edulink project with Africa, in 1 KA3 Support for Policy Reform initiative, in 2 Creative Europe projects, in 1 Europe for Citizens proposal and specially in the strategic partnerships call with more than 30 initiatives and in 14 Erasmus+ CBHE projects.

University of Kaunas

Kaunas University of Technology

Kaunas University of Technology (KTU) is one of the largest technological universities in the Baltics. Known for its links with business, leadership in scientific research, flexible interdisciplinary study programmes, and rich study experience, KTU is rapidly becoming an internationally acknowledged institution of higher education.

 

KTU is the founder and co-founder of a number of educational institutions, both with partners and individually (Santaka Valley Centre of Research, Studies and Business, Kaunas Science and Technology Park, Lithuanian Regional Research Institute, Kaunas Regional Energy Agency, Panevėžys Science and Technology Park, Panevėžys Centre of Mechatronics).

 

The University provides studies of engineering, technologies, physical and social sciences, humanities, and arts. University of Azores

The University of the Azores (UAc) is a Portuguese university located in the Archipelago of the Azores, a Portuguese archipelago located in the Atlantic North, between Europe and America, spreading over nine islands of diverse dimensions and sparse population concentration (around 250,000 inhabitants in total).

 

The UAc is a small and young public Portuguese university founded in January 1976, with three campi located on three different islands (São Miguel Island, Terceira Island and Faial Island). On the Ponta Delgada campus are situated the School of Sciences and Technology, School of Business and Economics, School of Social Sciences and Humanities, School of Technology and Administration, and School of Health; on Terceira campus are located the School of Agrarian and Environmental Sciences, School of Health; and on Faial Campus there is the Research Institute of Marine Sciences.
